Action Movie Musical Parody With Arnold Schwarzenegger

Brothers Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan are film/TV composers who happen to be in love with musicals. The created one called Silence! The Musical a few years ago (a musical based on The Silence of the Lambs). It was very popular. Recently, the brothers – obviously being big action movie fans as well as musical fans – have combined the two into some funny online spoofs that have gone viral. The action movie musical parody genre is born – the Kaplans have created action movie musicals of top Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. For example:

Commando: The Musical

This musical parody reworks James Horner’s theme from Commando (one of our favorite Arnold films) and throws in some funny lyrics. LOL, Bennett.

Predator: The Musical

“If it bleeds, we can kill it” becomes the ongoing mantra of this musical spoof of Predator. Love the bit with Carl Weathers.

Conan the Barbarian: The Musical

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women! So sayeth Conan.

Terminator II: The Musical

This one is one of the funniest. The Terminator loves killing people, but now because of this 10 year old idiot kid, he can only hurt them. A new perspective on T2.

Some of the other parodies include Total Recall and some non-Arnold movies like Rambo, Robocop, and Rambo IV.
