67 year old Bill Bramanti is such a fan of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer that he wants his coffin to look like a PBR when he dies. Yep, Bramanti wants to be buried in a Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer coffin, so he had one specially made and designed to look like a can of the trendy brew. At 5’9″ and 280 lbs, he has already tried it on for size, but insists that he’s not sick and doesn’t plan on making it his new home anytime soon.
However, Bramanti threw a party, where he filled the coffin up with ice and PBRs. He plans to continue using the special coffin as a beer cooler.
The special Pabst Blue Ribbon beer coffin was designed by the Scott Sign Company and manufactured by the Panozzo Brothers Funeral Home. Both companies are based in Chicago Heights.
