Betting Strategies For More Chances of Winning At Roulette

If you like to enjoy casino games then roulette is one which you will absolutely love. Whether you are playing online or live in a casino, there is something incredibly special about the thrill of roulette, of watching that little metal ball spin around the wheel, waiting with bated breath to see where it will land.

As with any casino game, there are many strategies which you can adopt when playing roulette, to find the best way in which to win. Some of these strategies may be more profitable than others, some may simply feel more comfortable in terms of how you gamble. If you like to play, here are some strategies which you should keep in mind.

Martingale System

The idea behind this betting system is that you keep on increasing your bets after a loss, until you win. Most commonly this strategy is used for those that are just betting on red or black, rather than individual numbers. The idea of the system is that the laws of probabilities are that sooner or later after say a period of 10 reds, the ball will return to black, and you can recoup your losses. The only downside with this technique is that you need to have the money in which to keep bumping up your stake.

Reverse Martingale

With the Reverse Martingale system, you will be better using it on a table with a small minimum bet, and a high max bet. The notion here is to double your bet after a win, rather than a loss. The downside of this strategy is that it comes with high risk and losing could see you lose all of your cash pot, win however, and you can win some huge returns.

 

D’Alembert System

This is a slightly safer option than the Martingale strategy, it is incredibly simple and instead of continuously doubling your bets, it uses a system of increasing and decreasing bets. Here you will start with a small wager on red or black, and increase the bet after a loss. Where this method differs from the Martingale, is that you decrease your bet after a win.

Fibonacci Approach

Famous Italian mathematician Leonardo of Pisa, or Fibonacci as he was also known, wrote about a list of numbers which are naturally occurring in nature, and that could be applied to many different branches of mathematics. Fast forward around 700 years and those numbers which he created have now been found to hold great value when used in a gambling strategy. The sequence of numbers is 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144 as you can see, every number after the first two, is the sum of the preceding numbers. In terms of betting, you will base your stake upon adding the last two bets together, the idea here is that even if you lose more games than you win, it is very possible to leave with a profit.
