Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.  Known for shopping, casinos, and entertainment, there’s a reason Las Vegas is known as Sin City!  There is never a shortage of things to do in Las Vegas, making it the perfect place to do a little bit of everything.  If you’re thinking about planning a trip to Las Vegas, here are some of the best things to do.

Thrill Rides

There is no better way to take in the sights than from high above the Las Vegas strip!  The Stratosphere Hotel’s thrill rides- X-Scream, Insanity, and Big Shot- have become wildly popular tourist attractions, as they allow riders to view the city from hundreds of feet in the air.  These thrill rides aren’t for the faint of heart, however, so be sure to team up with an adventurous buddy and get ready to have the time of your life!

Shows

The phrase “the bigger the better” definitely rings true when it comes to Las Vegas shows.  It seems like almost every major entertainer on the planet has done a Las Vegas residency at some point in their careers, giving tourists a chance to catch their favorite acts live and in person!  From superstars like Britney Spears to Las Vegas magicians, there is truly a show for everybody in Sin City, so be sure to check one out when you visit.

Museums

Las Vegas has an abundance of interesting museums to visit, making it a great place to go with family.  One of the most visited museums is the Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum, founded by the popular paranormal investigator.  The museum contains some of the world’s most haunted objects, and visitors to the museum have even reported seeing apparitions passing through the exhibit.  If you’re in the mood for something more lighthearted, there are tons of other museums to check out in Las Vegas, including the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the Discovery Children’s Museum.

Leisure & Luxury

Sin City is the perfect place to kick back and relax, and with so many luxury spas and resorts, the possibilities are endless.  One of the most popular spas in Las Vegas is Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace. The spa features luxurious ammenities like the snowing Arctic Ice Room, as well as three Roman baths varying in temperature to give you the most relaxing experience possible.  Other popular Las Vegas spas include the Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA, The Signature at MGM Grand, and Canyon Ranch Spa & Fitness.

Shopping

For shopaholics, Las Vegas is the perfect place to score some new threads.  The city is home to several large shopping malls, including the Fashion Show Mall, which boasts luxury stores like Tiffany & Co, Kate Spade, and Tory Burch.  Tons of stores can also be found on the Las Vegas strip, from high-end women’s retailers to more affordable discount stores. If you’re looking to do some serious shopping while in Las Vegas, you will not be disappointed.
