1. Selective-Color Edit

To start, you’ll want to duplicate the image layers in your editing program. Then, using the saturation tool, you’ll desaturate the background image of all colors.

Keep in mind, that while your subject may appear all one tone, there are likely several tones of the same color due to highlights and shadows.
Once you select your tones and hit okay, you’ll want to inverse your selection. Then, press Delete and all the color aspects of the photo except your subject will be removed.
