Hey Lady did you have a nice trip? Hey, maybe we’ll see you next fall. Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,

  2. Verucca Salt says:

Why is it always the dumpy fat ugly one who gets hurt? It couldn’t be the slender, taller, cuter girl. Poor thing. Do you think they kept filming and kept the mic on because they hated working with her? I wonder.

  3. Gary the Grape says:

I worked in the news room in Albany. She blew two interns there. She wanted to f me, but only without a condom. I wasn’t down with that. Her vagina is nice and shaved. She gets soooooooooooooooo wet.

  4. Yall..I mean We Aint Right says:

i cant front. I laughed cuz that shyt sounded funny. but i was concerned for her and worried. im glad shes not paralyzed or anything like that. i felt bad for laughing but i couldnt help it. btw some of the comments are on here are funny as hell like the one that says “the moral of the story is cheaters fall off barrels of grapes and makes sounds agh aoooh ohhh ohhhh”. i peed a little rotflmao

  5. I’m with e-rose…. I worked there back in 1997 when I was in college, and grew up in that area. I never heard of it until the Stewie parody from Family Guy. Oh well.

  6. Asher says:

I think she probably shouldn’t have been messing around and she wouldn’t have gotten hurt. It’s her own damn fault. I feel bad for the reporters it cut back to-it must have been so hard not to laugh. The guy was doing a better job than the woman at hiding his amusement.

  7. Victor Vino says:

No, No, NOOO!!!! Melissa Sander, the reporter, is the one on the RIGHT in the video, the one who doesn’t fall! The one on the left, the one who falls (name unknown), is an employee of the chateau! Notice that Sander is the one asking the questions (like reporters do) and the employee is answering them and explaining about the chateau and so forth!!!!

  8. anal ooze says:

    are you half-retarted victor-vino??
I feel sorry for this gal but like people said, might as well live with it and laugh with it…
    we love ya grape-lady!

  9. Victor Vino says:

No, I’m not half-retarded – I used to watch Sander here in Atlanta and I can tell her apart from that other lady! I ask again, who is doing the interview in that video – the one who falls, or the other one? The one who doesn’t fall is the one asking the questions, because SHE’S the reporter, Melissa Sander. Why would a reporter for a TV station be the one ANSWERING questions during an interview?!??!!?

  10. ME says:

SHE DID NOT BREAK HER RIBS!

SHE WAS FINE. GOT THE WIND KNOCKED OUT OF HER.

  11. LeeMT says:

    Grape lady for President !!!!!!!

  12. 2grape-tbag says:

Sounded like somebody clubbing a seal. I hope they gave her the basket afterward to carry her dignity home. That ought to be a new event in the special olympics. syncronized platform falling.

  13. brett says:

To those of you bitching about karma:
This video IS a lesson in karma! Don’t cheat, don’t try to be cute about it, otherwise you might almost die and become a role model/hilarious reminder of morality & mortality for the YouTube generation.

  14. Melissa C. says:

Okay so my friend told me to watch this. And after a month or two of her bugging me to watch it, I finally did today. When I first watched it on Youtube I almost peed myself I was laughing so hard. I also thought that the people at the stage or whatever were stupid for saying “I think she’s actually hurt.” No really? I mean seriously. But what I did’nt know is that she got seriously injured. And I feel extremley bad. All of you that think this is funny and laughed (just like I did) but never really thought of her injuries, karma is gonna come back and hit you in the butt and you will know it. I am only 12, but I do have a big heart. So to all you heartless people that honestly don’t care, wait until you go through something as painful as this. Well if Melissa Sander does read this, I just want to say that these people that don’t give two (you know what) about others, don’t listen to them. They don’t know you, and neither do I but I bet you are a very caring person. So bye everyone!

    -Melissa C.

  15. slusho815 says:

  16. anonymous says:

Melissa is one of the hardest-working and smartest people I’ve ever met. It’s really a shame something like this has to follow her everywhere she goes. She doesn’t deserve public ridicule. She didn’t commit a crime. I wish her well and miss seeing her on air. The grape stomp incident could have happened to anyone on live television. It’s unfortunate we live in an age where something like this will not end.

  17. Bailey says:

LOL I mean, I do feel bad but still even if it was me and I watched it, I probably would’ve died laughing (But at the same time would’ve been humiliated)

P.S To all the people that leave long rambly comments…NOBODY READS THEM your wasting ur time…

    Bailey xoxo

  18. whodat says:

i think the first couple of anonymous replies were that of ms.sander.

  19. IKnowEverything says:

I came to the same conclusion as whodat. It’s pretty obvious that Melissa S. is posting here under Anonymous and not even bothering to come up with an alias. Either that or the people who are defending her are too stupid to type “asdf’. Well you Anonymous people, Bush is running again in 2012 so don’t forget to vote for him like you voted for him the last 2 times. The voting booth is in the bottom of the ocean, by the way. Don’t worry, there are invisible tunnels that will allow your car to get to the booths harmlessly. Go forth.

  20. Stomp with rabbits foot says:

I cant believe i read all these posts.

I have to admit there is something that provokes laughter when a human makes a mistake and falls. Whether thats out of a grape stomping tub or running up some stairs trying to make the next class. Its human nature to the point that its an involuntary action. People laugh at the unexpected.

In this case that might be the fall or the symphony of moans that follows. Humor isnt necessarily premeditated. Its the spontaneity.

All this talk of “karma” is amusing. Not only do people typically react in outburst upon seeing such an event… chances are in their life they will make some accident prone mistake themselves. Its not that people are sitting behind their computer screen saying “LOLZER GRAPE LADIE BROKE MANY RIBS!!!!111uno”

Its the action, the sounds, the camera man not cutting away, the dumbfounded twits in the studio, and even the painting that follows.

And no the grape lady isnt posting here. Considering this type of embarrassing as some sort of “fame” is something that would typically be lost on her generation. Its the younger generation that grew up with the viral video and you tube experience that would find fame in this. I am quite sure she is trying to move on with her life and move past this mistake.

  21. Slick says:

THE most hilarious noise to ever come from a human being. Oh and karma does not exist. The very idea of karma is irrational. I will laugh at this video every time I see it and of course something bad will happen to me in the future, because bad things happen to everyone. Be a full fledged saint and see if shit doesn’t still end up in your cereal. Fucking morons.

  22. ThatOneGuy says:

Just posting to say that yes, I did find the video funny, but I did feel concern over her safety. While I don’t agree with all the people personally insulting her, I also don’t agree with the self-righteous pinnacles of morality posting here, talking about how everyone who laughed at this video is cruel and senseless. Get a sense of humor and understand that these things make people laugh.

  23. michael says:

I dated melissa while she was at WTEN in Albany NY. We met on a story. She is a gentile sweet, highly intelligent woman who deserved to be treated better than I did. For that I am truly sorry. I hope that she is happy and enjoying a good life. She was good to me , always.
ego is a dangerous thing and mine got in the way!
