Plastic surgery is more popular than ever before. People will spend thousands on temporary and permanent measures to improve their appearance. One of the main dislikes many people have about their appearance is the size or shape of their nose. But what does a nose job cost? Is it a permanent or a temporary fix? What other procedures do people want to get to enhance their appearance?

So first of all, the nose job. Is it costly? Well truthfully, there is no straight forward answer. The cost can vary greatly depending on a number of factors. For example, what type of nose job are you getting? Is it surgical or non-surgical? Who is going to perform the procedure? Is it someone in training, being supervised? Obviously, the biggest factor will be whether or not the procedure is surgical or non-surgical. Non-surgical options are less invasive and so require less equipment and products (eg. Anaesthetic) so keep the costs lower. Having said all this, the average cost of a nose job is estimated to be between $5,400 and $5,500. But the actual price can vary anywhere from $100 to $20,000. The procedures you can receive also vary and can be permanent or temporary. The surgical and more invasive procedures are more costly but can have permanent results. Whereas procedures, such as Muscle Paralysis Rhinoplasty, use Botox injections and are much cheaper but the results are only temporary and would need to be repeated continuously.

The most expensive treatments include open rhinoplasty (which is much more invasive) and ultrasonic rhinoplasty (which is much more specialised). Open rhinoplasty would be an option for changing the shape and size of the nose as well as helping with breathing worries. The skin is removed to expose the complete framework of the nose. Specialized tools are used during ultrasonic rhinoplasty, which again is an open surgery, exposing the bone and framework of the nose.
