Ready to sit down to the perfect combination of TV and Takeaway food tonight? Whether it is a curry kind of night, or you feel more like pizza, the best TV series of 2015 will provide the perfect accompaniment for an evening of entertainment.

1) Narcos

Detailing the rise and fall of Pablo Escobar’s Medellin cartel, and all the hyperviolent cat and mouse games that unfolded in between, Narcos has quickly become one of the biggest hits that Netflix has come up with in its brief production history.

From the growth of distribution networks around the world, to the excesses that Pablo was famous for due to the obscene profits he grossed from selling one of the world’s most addictive products (to say nothing of the violent tendencies that he and his foot soldiers meted out against their enemies), this series will captivate you from start to finish.

Watching this show can turn you into a junkie as well, as this and other Netflix series release their season’s episodes en masse instead of making you wait a week for a new installment. Plan your viewing carefully, or take some days off work using your banked time – it’s worth it!

2) Sherlock

Taking the 19th century crime stories of Arthur Conan Doyle and porting them into the 21st century is what the British drama series Sherlock has done over the last few years, with the most recent season providing the most compelling episodes of this show yet.

With each of the episodes in this series taking elements of each of the Sherlock Holme’s novels and translating them into their modern day equivalents, the quaint aspects of characters like Sherlock’s sidekick Dr. Watson and their nemesis James Moriarty shine through even as they cruise down the street in a stately car instead upon a horse and buggy.

3) Better Call Saul

With the end of Breaking Bad, fans of everyone’s favorite meth dealer were left scrambling for a hit of action packed cable TV (it turns out they won’t have to wait long for more Walter White, as this show seems likely to be coming back for one more season at the time of the writing of this article), and they got it with the spin off series, Better Call Saul.

Based around the career of small time Albuquerque lawyer Saul Goodman before his association with drug kingpin Walter White changed his life forever, this show profiles this man’s rise from a stuggling public defender to a local legal phenom (with help from a few dirty tricks behind the scenes, of course).
