Have you ever dreamed of being a cop, but also dreamed of driving a multi-million Aston Martin One-77 sports car? If you’re lucky enough to own one of the only 77 manufactured in the world already, take it on a road trip with a sightseeing world tour. If you’re like the rest of us and have to work for a living, however, maybe it’s time to consider moving to Dubai. The Dubai police force employ these and dozens of other high-dollar sports cars, making them by far the flashiest cops in the world.
An Unbelievable Line-Up
Everyone who owns a car should be aware of various key facts to help them maintain the car, but none more so than the police officers in Dubai. They aren’t driving common police cars like the Jeep Liberty or Ford Taurus. Instead, they employ vehicles like the Audi R8, Bentley Continental GT, Bugatti Veyron, and Lamborghini Aventador, to name only a few. These are all high dollar vehicles, but none more so than the Aston Marton One-77, the second most expensive car in the world valued at $1.4 million. And the Dubai police force is currently cruising around in these.
If there were ever a place not to get in a car chase with the police, Dubai would be it. There’s little to no chance of outrunning cops with Lamborghini Aventadors, which can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds and have a top speed of 217 mph. Criminals would be lucky to last a few minutes while being chased by a fleet of these. And they tend to be driven in the tourist-heavy areas, so if you’re planning on stealing, do yourself a favor and think twice.
Catch Criminals On Hoverbikes
Not only does the Dubai police force employ some of the world’s most desirable cars, but they’re also trying their hand at flying. Yes, they also, crazily enough, own hoverbikes. The Hoversurf Scorpion 3 Hoverbike, to be exact. These extremely dangerous drone-type hoverbikes seem a little out of place, though. In a fleet of high-powered vehicles, this bike can barely stay powered for 20 minutes and moves at a modest 60 mph. Owning a hoverbike is arguably one of the coolest vehicles one could own, but do they really need one? One thing is for sure: the Dubai police aren’t complaining. Not only do they get to carry guns and drive world-class sports cars, but they’re getting paid to do it.
So if you dream of being a cop and love cars, maybe it’s time to consider the move to Dubai. You can catch criminals in the world’s second fastest car or try a hand at flying a $150,000 hoverbike. Either way, no one can deny that the Dubai police department has the world’s coolest vehicle line up.
