The young female employees of a Taiwan McDonalds turned the fast food restaurant into a maid cafe for New Years Eve. On December 31, 2012, the workers dressed up in pink maid outfits for the day, even calling their customers “master” when taking their orders. This happened at the McDonald’s in Kaosiung, a city located in southwestern Taiwan. Photos of the girls were uploaded to the Taiwan McDonalds Facebook page.

You may recall that a maid cafe (also called Meido cafe or Cosplay restaurant) is a place where manga-style “maids” serve food (like tea and cakes) to customers, usually greeting them in the manner of a house servant like “Welcome home, Master”. (Read more about maid cafes).
