The Dalu Robot restaurant features droid-like robots circling the room, serving food to customers. The system works like conveyor belts. Robots entertain, greet, and serve food to hungry customers. The restaurant can support up to 100 diners and was developed by the Shandong Dalu Science and Technology Company.
There are more than 12 robots in the restaurant currently, including 6 robot waitresses, but owner Zhang Yongpei hopes to have 30 of them (costing about $6000 a piece).
