Prada Marfa

Created by artists Elmgreen and Dragset, Prada Marfa is a sculpture located 1.4 miles outside Valentine, Texas, off U.S. Route 90. It’s referred to as a “pop architectural land art project” and cost about $80,000.

A few days after completion, the installation was vandalized, and the handbangs and shoes inside were stolen. Afterwards, the “permanent installation” was repaired and a security system was installed.
