Teachers Gone Wild: Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo

Another edition of our Teachers Gone Wild saga centers on Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo, who taught “social studies” at Jimmy Carter Middle School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It looks like she was teaching sex studies on the side:

According to Huffpo:

Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo, 33, has been charged with rape after she confided to a fellow teacher that she was having sex with one of her 13-year-old male students. That teacher contacted the authorities. She has since been fired from the school.

Sanchez-Trujillo taught dance several times a week at On Stage Performing Arts near Interstate 40 and Coors. The Jimmy Carter Middle School social studies teacher confessed to driving a 13-year-old student to the movies, and then to the Petroglyphs National Monument, where the two had sex in the back of her car on two occasions. She described the boy as “a 25-year-old in a 13-year-old’s body.”

According to KRQE :

The pair had sex two times but never at school. Police said Trujillo told them she picked the boy up twice from his home, took him to the movies and then out to the petroglyphs, which she referred to as “our spot.” She told police that is where they had sex in the back seat of her car, and that the sex was “loving and caring” and that the boy “was more experienced than any man she’s had sex with.”

More experienced at 13 years of age? We wonder if she’ll use the Benjamin Button defense.
