Hot For Teacher: Kirsten Kinley, 27, a special education (apparently, very special education) teacher in Howard County, Maryland, is charged with multiple sex offenses involving a minor after a series of encounters with a 15-year-old:

Police say the two were introduced through one of his friends and engaged in sexual acts on two occasions — on New Year’s Eve 2004 and once again in January 2005. The two met each time at Kinley’s apartment, according to police. The boy was 15 years old when the encounters occurred.
According to court documents, Kinley’s accuser told police that they chatted through computer instant messaging in early December 2004. Kinley asked him if “he was a virgin and then asked him to have sex with her,” the documents said. Various bits of nookie allegedly ensued. More detail from the Howard County press release:
Howard County Police have charged a Marriotts Ridge High School teacher with multiple sex offenses involving a male teenager. Kirsten Ann Kinley, 27, of 7525 Murray Hill Rd. in Columbia, was charged late yesterday after she turned herself in to police.
Detectives interviewed the boy, who reported that Kinley had sent him inappropriate text messages and sexually explicit photographs of herself. The boy provided police with some of those materials. He also reported that he and Kinley had engaged in sex acts on two separate occasions at her home
Kinley was charged with two counts of third degree sex offense, two counts of fourth degree sex offense and two counts of solicitation of a minor. She was released on $75,000 bond.

A former Marriotts Ridge High School special education teacher who police accused in February of having sex with a 15-year-old boy is facing additional charges of sexual misconduct with a second teenage boy. A Howard County grand jury indicted the teacher, Kirsten Ann Kinley, 27, May 30 on three counts of third-degree sex offense in connection with allegations by a boy who told police he had sex with Kinley during a month-long period in 2004, when he was 15 and Kinley was 25. On the same day the grand jury issued its indictment, the Howard County Board of Education voted to terminate Kinley’s teaching contract.
A second 17-year-old boy told police that he had sex with Kinley at her apartment on two occasions between Oct. 15, 2004 and Nov. 16, 2004, when the boy was 15, according to Howard police. The boy told police “he heard about Kinley having sex with male students from a friend” and that a friend provided him with Kinley’s online screen name, so that he could send her messages, charging documents state. After engaging in Internet conversations, Kinley sent the boy naked pictures of herself and arranged to meet the boy at her apartment to have sex, according to charging documents.

Former Howard County teacher Kirsten Ann Kinley told the judge at her sentencing hearing in November that she was sorry she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy at her Columbia apartment more than two years ago. “I want to apologize for the pain anybody had to suffer because of these actions,” said a soft-spoken Kinley, who cried throughout the hour-long hearing. “I want the opportunity to become a productive citizen.”
Howard County Circuit Court Judge Diane O. Leasure sentenced Kinley, 27, to three years in prison, with 18 months suspended, which means she is to serve 18 months at the county detention center.
Kinley pleaded guilty in August to one count of third-degree sex offense. The plea agreement prohibits her from any contact with the boy and requires her to seek treatment and counseling and to register as sex offender. She is prohibited from access to the Internet.
Kinley had faced additional charges involving a second boy, which were dropped after he refused to cooperate with prosecutors.

Kirsten Kinley is out of jail and currently resides in Baltimore. She is registered in the Maryland Sex Offender database.

OC-I don’t see the update. I heard she got 5 years, but that really shocked me. The last article said the recommendation was 18 months.

Judge Diane O. Leasure sentenced Kinley to 3 years in prison, with 18 months suspended, following Kinley’s August guilty plea to a single count of third-degree sex offense for improper sexual conduct with a 15-year-old boy.
In addition to her jail sentence, Kinley is prohibited from any contact with the boy, is required to seek treatment and counseling, must register as sex offender and is prohibited from access to the Internet, which she used to communicate with the boy.
Its not that she had problems finding dates per se, its that she has a fetish, a very sick fetish, with young virgin boys, like most pedophiles do. But again, you all act like the boy had nothing to do with it.
