Teachers Gone Wild: Allenna Ward

Former middle school teacher Allenna Ward was sent to prison for six years for having sexual encounters with five teenage boys. Ward, 24, met the boys, who were 14 and 15 yaers of age, at the school where she taught as well as at a motel, a park, and behind a restaurant.

Some of the victims were students at Bell Street Middle School in Clinton, where Ward taught. Ward pleaded guilty in September to three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and three lewd acts on a minor.

The Allenna Williams Ward case in Clinton, South Carolina may contain racial overtones for some – the fact that all teenagers involved in the case are African-American has been hidden from the public for the most part.
