Kristen Sullivan: Another Broward County Teacher Gone Wild?

We are certain that the state of Florida will never run out of “Hot for Teacher” stories. This week, it’s Broward County, where Lauderhill Middle School teacher Kristen Sullivan, 25, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old male student for almost a year. The Miami Herald story says that Sullivan is charged with 2 counts of sexual battery and 1 count of lewd and lascivious battery.

Apparently, the two met at a signup for a boxing program, but the specifics aren’t told. Whatever happened, it’s likely that Sullivan convinced the kid to join her computer class, and then she convinced him to join her sex-ed class. Except that the sex-ed class was unofficial and there’s only 1 student. Since there’s a lack of classrooms for this special class, makeshift classrooms had to suffice, like a storage room, Sullivan’s home (office!), and even her car. (Learning can be done anywhere!)

The kicker is that the boy told police that they had sex about 100 times. But then he did a stupid thing – he told his new girlfriend about it. And that was the end of that. Police apparently have evidence of a phone conversation too.
