Ruen Beane Was Accused Of Touching and Fondling Female Students

Ruen Marie Beane taught math. She may have tried to teach other things, but the Seminole Sheriff’s Office apparently disagreed, and we think she now runs a small company in Jacksonville.
Orlando Sentinel reports:
A Seminole High School teacher has been placed on paid leave after allegations by four female students that she touched and fondled them, made suggestive comments and asked them to look at pictures of nude women on her classroom computer.
Sanford police are investigating the students’ complaints against Ruen Marie Beane, 30, a math teacher at the school. Seminole school district officials said they are looking into the allegations as well.
Ruen Beane is also a cheerleading coach and, apparently, a photographer. From her page at One Model Place (since taken down):
Sensual Images: Looking to portray images of a sensual images, from G rated (like showing a hand giving a rose) to more physically sensual like the intertwining of a man and a woman.
Update – 2010
Here’s what we know, or what we think we know. Apparently, the investigation concluded that Beane did nothing wrong (see a commenter’s entry below). It’s practically impossible to find any follow-up stories in the local media, which is par for the course. However, a name search comes up a LinkedIn profile suggesting that Ruen Beane is now Vice President at AZS Consulting, Inc, located in Jacksonville, FL. Her past jobs include “Instructor at Seminole County School Board and Instructor at Polk County School Board” which fits, and her photo looks like her.
AZS Consulting does energy rating for Florida residential and commercial organizations. If Beane truly was innocent then we are glad she was able to move onto another job (hey, VP of a small company in the construction industry is pretty good!). Not much else on Ruen but we dug up these photos:

and i dont blame the girl or girls that told neither! i was touched but i was afraid
to tell and im soooooo glad someone had the guts to do so… and all yall who said
“she didnt do a think i know her” well i know her too and she did do it… i am a
victum to her nastyness! so dont start saying stuff like “she didnt do it” unless
you were there to witness it!
For the record, the Seminole County Police Department concluded its investigation in August. No charges have been nor will be filed against Ruen Beane.

To “one of her other” how can you say this is true when you got touched one time. If you ever worked out or trained in gymnastics, you know you have to have a spotter. How is someone going to spot without touching? Drop you on your head? Sounds like maybe that happened to yall.
Ever notice that if you do research on female teachers who do stuff like this, the ones who are accused of doing things with female students tend to invariably teach some form of gym class? Just thought that was rather interesting…
