Google has apparently blacklisted almost every single thing on the internet. Just to make sure, we checked different computers using different web browsers, and came up with the same results. If you Google something (anything, really), Google slaps a “This site may harm your computer” label on it. If you click the link, you’ll get those annoying Warning screens.

For example, here’s what happens when you Google the New York Times:

And, oh, the irony (click for larger):

Google even blacklists itself!

That’s right, Google believes that Google will harm your computer.

On the other hand, we think the Goog may be getting too big for their britches.

Update

Funny! The conservative blog American Thinker took this morning’s Google glitch as a sign that they were being targeted by a liberal conspiracy! As Workbench points out:

Since the problem affected billions of pages in Google’s search database, it appears that the writers at American Thinker don’t get out much beyond right-wing sites. Color me shocked.
