Jeff sent us these two stories about car accidents being blamed by the drivers on creatures of the night, or something.
One guy blames the dinosaurs.
A 29-year-old Wenatchee man told police a pterodactyl caused him to drive his car into a light pole about 11:30 p.m. Wenatchee police cited the man with first-degree negligent driving. A breathalyzer test showed “a minimal amount of alcohol.”
A woman in Colorado blames vampires.
A Western Slope woman claims she spotted a vampire in the middle of a dirt road near Fruita, Colo. Sunday night. She told Colorado State Troopers she was startled by the undead being, threw her SUV into reverse, and crashed into a canal. Troopers do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be factors in the crash.
