Dennis Hof Approves of Candidate/Congressman Ron Paul And Has Raised Money For Him

Some of us here at Odd Culture are libertarians, so we like this story about Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof throwing in his support for Ron Paul. Ron Paul is a guy who, even though he’s pro-life and Christian, still supports the right of the people of Nevada to legalize prostitution. That’s a principled guy. Too bad his own party threw him under the bus.

Dennis Hof, the guy who owns the (in)famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nevada, was so impressed with Ron Paul at a recent campaign stop in Reno that he has raised money to support the congressman. Hof and two of his “employees”, Brooke Taylor and Air Force Amy, attended a Paul news conference recently.

Jeff Greenspan, a spokesman for Ron Paul, says that Paul doesn’t condone prostitution, but at the same time he doesn’t feel it’s the federal government’s role to regulate it, either. Paul is a diehard supporter of states rights; he recognizes that Nevada voters and lawmakers have decided prostitution should be legal in the state.
Noteworthy here: Paul is a devout Christian who opposes abortion.
A devout Christian willing to put aside his personal preferences in favor of state’s rights? We’re on board!
