“I think it’s important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have here, the fact that it’s a privilege to come and the sort of things that mean you won’t be welcome in this country,” Home Secretary Jacqui Smith told GMTV. “Coming to this country is a privilege. If you can’t live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country and, what’s more, now we will make public those people that we have excluded.

Michael Savage

The list of the 16 “least wanted” includes radio talk show host Michael Savage, real name Michael Weiner. “This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country,” Ms Smith told BBC Breakfast.

Wiki:

Some, including Savage himself, have characterized his views as conservative nationalism. Consequently, he outspokenly opposes illegal immigration to the United States, supports the English-only movement, and claims that liberalism and same-sex marriage are degrading American culture.

Savage runs the Savage Nation, which can usually be found on your AM dial at night. Trivia: Savage has two master’s degrees in ethnobotany and anthropology from the University of Hawaii, and a Ph.D. in nutritional ethnomedicine from the University of California, Berkeley. His son Russell Weiner created the Rockstar Energy Drink and runs the company out of Vegas.

Fred Phelps and Shirley Phelps-Roper

Also named are American Baptist pastor Fred Waldron Phelps Snr and his daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper, who have picketed the funerals of Aids victims and claimed the deaths of US soldiers are a punishment for US tolerance of homosexuality.

Fred Waldron Phelps, Sr. is an American pastor of the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC), based in Topeka, Kansas. He and his family (including daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper) are currently notorious for their anti-gay protests, claiming that most natural disasters and terrorist attacks are God’s punishment for a society that tolerates homosexuality. He is known for the slogans “God Hates Fags“, “Thank God for Dead Soldiers”, “America Is Doomed” and “Priests Rape Boys.”

Other list members are:

Hamas MP Yunis Al-Astal

Hamas MP and Cleric Yunis Al-Astal has said incendiary things like “We Will Conquer Rome, and from There Continue to Conquer the Two Americas and Eastern Europe.”

Mike Guzofsky

Considered a Jewish extremist, Guzovsky belongs to Kahanism, which is a movement that believes in the idea that the State of Israel should defend itself against Arab and Nazi enemies, and thus should accord full citizenship exclusively to Jews, and that all gentiles should be accorded equal rights except voting provided they accept Jewish religious law. He runs the Jewish Legion, the Voice of Judea media, and Referendums For Israel. Kahane Chai is considered a terrorist group by the United States.

Stephen Donald Black

American white nationalist Don Black is also a former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard. He is the founder and current webmaster of the Stormfront internet forum. He was a member of the American Nazi Party in the 70s and was convicted in 1981 for attempted armed overthrow of the Dominican government in violation of the U.S. Neutrality Act.

Erich Gliebe

erichgliebe

Neo-Nazi Gliebe used to be a boxer who called himself “The Aryan Barbarian.” He is CEO and acting Chairman of the National Alliance, a white separatist political organization.

Trivia: he actually said this about Obama in 2008:

Obama might be a better candidate for our cause because he’s racially conscious. One of our big things in the National Alliance is to raise the racial consciousness of our people. Young whites in universities, they’ve been stripped of any kind of racial identity. Obama may be a racist in a positive sense for his people–that will awaken a lot of the whites, knock some sense into them. They’ll see that non-white Americans are allowed to be proud of who they are, to be racially conscious, to talk about their people or their community without being attacked as being racist. Let’s face it, white people aren’t going to fight for their causes, for their kind with a white president. I don’t think McCain even acknowledges that a white race exists. He’s all about granting amnesty to illegal aliens. The fact he wants to keep us in wars in the Middle East for 100 years, that’s not a good thing. I give Obama credit, he seems to have stuck to his guns as far as pulling the troops out of Iraq. He’s a very intelligent man, an excellent speaker and has charisma. John McCain offers none of that. Perhaps the best thing for the white race is to have a black president. My only problem with Obama is perhaps he’s not black enough.

Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky

pavelskachevsky

Ryno and Skachevsky are the former leaders of a violent Russian skinhead gang which committed 20 racially motivated murders. Both are currently in prison. When they were arrested for killing an Armenian businessman in 2007, who was stabbed 20 times in Moscow, Ryno himself pleaded guilty to 37 murders.

Most of them were underage, with most members ranging in age from 15 and 22 at the time of the crime.

Investigators say the gang targeted people of non-Slavic appearance, mostly from Central Asia and the Caucasus. Ryno was reported to be a student at an icon painting school and told investigators that he began his murder spree in 2006.

Wadgy Abd El Hamied Mohamed Ghoneim, Abdullah Qadri Al Ahdal, Safwat Hijazi and Amir Siddique,

All radical Islamic clerics.

Abdul Ali Musa

Muslim activist (previously Clarence Reams),

Samir Al Quntar

A murderer and Hezbollah terrorist, Samir al Quntar is a Lebanese man who spent three decades in prison for killing four Israeli soldiers and a 4-year-old girl in 1979. Israel freed Quntar last year in an exchange with Hezbollah for the bodies of two dead Israeli soldiers.

Nasr Javed

A Kashmiri terror group leader, Nasr Javed is said to be a Pakistan-based commander of Lashkar, the banned terrorist outfit that propagates Islamic rule across the world. The group has been blamed for last year’s 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

“If people have so clearly overstepped the mark in terms of the way not just that they are talking but the sort of attitudes that they are expressing to the extent that we think that this is likely to cause or have the potential to cause violence or inter-community tension in this country, then actually I think the right thing is not to let them into the country in the first place. Not to open the stable door then try to close it later,” Ms Smith said. “It’s a privilege to come to this country. There are certain behaviors that mean you forfeit that privilege.”
