Tila Tequila is “doing it all by herself!” Oh, except for Playboy, Import Tuner, Fuse TV, Stuff, and Maxim, who probably helped her out a little bit.

Here’s Tila Tequila, aka Tila Nguyen. Born in Singapore with French Vietnamese parents, Tila has been seen in Playboy, Import Tuner, Stuff, and Maxim. Oh, she’s also the Queen of Myspace!
Here’s her video for I Love U:
Here’s a sample from her Myspace blog:
You keep asking me for this everywhere I go. When I am on Myspace, when I’m walking around the streets, when I’m up at the hotspots partying…..soooooooo I guess I just gotta give it to you! What is it??? Well you keep asking me to post back up “FUCK YA MAN” and so I did! Daaaaaaaaaaamn I guess that’s like a number one underground hit huh? I didn’t realize soooo sooo many of you love this song! hehe….that’s cool though, I’m glad you like it! Maybe I will put it on my next EP coming out this summer and shoot a cool music video for it? Hmmm….I will try to hook that up for you! hehe…..well go listen to it cuz it’s back up on my playlist! Woohooo! Love ya! And don’t forget to check me out on “THE WAR AT HOME” tv show this sunday. Read blog for more info. And to answer ya’lls questions….YESSSSS….I am also going to be on the new gameshow on NBC called “IDENTITY” hahahha! Yea I was the one in the green bikini! WOOOOHOOOOO! I guess I’m on a roll! Stick around for more info about Identity! =)
When Tila started, people was mad hatin’ on her. You know – it’s tough being Asian. But you gotta believe in yourself!

fuck you, haterz!
WILL YOU JOIN THE BATTLE????
The future of the music business is being re-written NOW. Have you ever had the power to make a massive change? Start a war; stop a war; forge a new path; break down old barriers? Have you, a friend, a neighbor, or even someone you don’t like, struggled for years to achieve a dream that a few people control the outcome of, and they tell you that you can’t do it? If 99 cents was a step toward changing all that, would you spend it? One artist, who has spent her life trying to break down stereotypes and rules (of what a “model” is, of what it is to be Asian-American, of what kind of artist you have to be to get a record label to sign you), is taking a massive step towards a new idea and fighting back hard against the traditional means to build a music career.
Tila Tequila turned down two record deals, believing that having absolute control over the kind of music she released and how she was portrayed was more important than being part of the system. She’s done it all on her own up to this point, so why not continue? Tila has recorded music, picked a single, shot a video, and is set to release everything WITHOUT the help of a label. She is convinced that she knows what her fans want, not some corporate A&R guy at that multibillion dollar company, watching their bottom line. It’s about music. And freedom.
This is the beginning of a new digital revolution – the artist’s active participation in Web 2.0. Don’t be left behind!
Viva La Revolution!
As HeckerSpray says, she works with a teensy weensy production company called Endemol:
Endemol, INgrooves partner for Tequila’s Shot:
Reality entertainment producer Endemol and digital media distribution firm INgrooves announced a deal to launch the debut single by MySpace sensation Tila Tequila with a digital-only campaign highlighted by a music video available in the U.S. exclusively on Sprint’s Power Vision platform. The Lil’ Jon-produced “I Love U” is currently available for download exclusively through Apple’s iTunes storefront; Endemol filmed Tequila’s corresponding video clip expressly for the mobile platform, signing additional broadcast deals with international operators including Britain’s O2 and the Netherlands’ Vodafone. ”
Endemol, Sprint, Lil Jon, ITunes, Vodafone. Not bad for an oppressed Asian model who is “doing it all by herself.”

Stop Hatin’
Actually, Tila reminds us of when Mr. T reminded everybody to “BE SOMEBODY”
God, we miss Mr. T.
