Persian Girls: Claudia Lynx

Shaghayegh Claudia Lynx is an Iranian born actress (from Tehran), model and singer. Born in 1982, she has appeared in a few movies and on the TV show West Wing. Her family moved to Norway when she was 3 months old; when she was 5, she moved with her family to Toronto. Currently she lives in Los Angeles.

Discovered in a dentist’s office by a casting director, Claudia started out doing advertisements for baby products. At 15 years of age, she did ads for Levi’s. At 19, she was voted the best print and fashion model by the people behind the CSMU Pageant (Canadian Search Miss Universe).

She starred in 2005′s Legion of the Dead, playing “Aneh-Tet”. Other movies include 2007′s Succubus – Hell Bent. On West Wing, she played “Miss World”
