Street racing is popular in Orlando, FL, it seems. There’s a place near downtown where everybody meets up at the Mama Bs Subs. Even Hulk Hogan!
Apparently, Orange county leaders have passed a bill that allows the cops to fine you if you are just watching a street race. For some reason though, the racers themselves seem to get away with it.

Finland was rocked by its second school massacre in under a year today when 22 year old Matti Saari went on a rampage in a remote western town, killing ten people at a catering and tourism college.
Saari turned the gun on himself and later died in the hospital in Tampere.

Police in the western Russian city of Yaroslavl have arrested a gang of goths accused of killing and eating four teenagers in a gory Satanic ritual. The victims were stabbed 666 times. Also, an upside down cross was found at the scene. Lovely.

Italian comedienne Sabina Guzzanti faces prosecution for insulting the Pope, an offense that carries a prison sentence of up to five years. She is accused of “offending the honor of the sacred and inviolable person” of Pope Benedict XVI at a rally in Rome in July at which opposition leaders accused Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of passing ad personam laws to protect his own interests and avoid prosecution for alleged corruption.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick pleads guilty and steps down as mayor! With Video!
After an extraordinary day that saw him plead guilty to two felonies, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick spoke for the first time publicly this evening. Telling Detroiters “I’ve always said that you need to stand strong for the City of Detroit…but sometimes standing strong means stepping down,” Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick delivered a televised speech that was part-apology, part campaign speech.

So what does Riches do to pass the time in prison? Well, some prisoners read, others lift weights, etc… Riches likes to file lawsuits. In fact, he has filed over one thousand lawsuits in federal district courts across the country.
