Zon8 is the first online video game from Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Ripley Entertainment, holder of the famous Ripley’s Believe it or Not! museums, is set to release the new online game next month, with the help of web developer 2Advanced Studios. The game, which you will be able to play in your browser, is a puzzle adventure that will feature 8 levels of play.
The game will take players through a fictitious warehouse of Robert Ripley’s archives, where they must solve puzzles, discover artifacts, and collect a variety of clues on their journey.
Players eventually come face-to-face with S.A.R.I. (Secure Access Ripley Inerface) – an imaginary artificial intelligence that Robert Ripley supposedly created. S.A.R.I. asks a series of questions that players must answer from information that they have gathered during the game. The multiple-choice questions are actual Believe It or Not! facts. Eight correct answers in a row complete the game. Get one wrong and players must start again.
The first ten people to complete Zon8 successfully will win a custom-made shrunken head! Other winners will receive a copy of Ripley’s Search for the Shrunken Heads and Other Curiosities or Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Seeing Is Believing!
.

The game is set to launch on June 28, 2010. You can sign up here.
