Polish Newspaper Uses Pedo Bear For Mascot

Polish newspaper Gazeta Olsztynska ran an article on the 2010 Winter Games which included illustrations of the mascots: Quatchi, Sumi, Miga, Mukmuk and … Pedobear.

Pedobear is a long-running Internet meme that originated from the 4chan forums. When a particularly lecherous person seemed to be hitting on underage adolescents users would post the Pedobear image directly afterwards to call them out. The meme has since taken on a life of its own, with photoshopped Pedobears popping up everywhere.
