Sci Fi Wire was mailed a Star Trek flash drive by Paramount as part of a viral marketing campaign for the upcoming Star Trek reboot. In addition to an image of Spock as a baby, there was some very very weird wallpaper art designed by somebody named Zuper Blahq. Take a look:

So, yes – the new Star Trek is all about crazy Vulcan bling, some weird gay Spock moment, and a lovely garden party on the Enterprise bridge. We’re surprised that they didn’t go with the Spock-DJ thing:

It seems like the “logical” evolutionary step in Vulcan coolness. By the way, Zuper Blahq is the alter ego of will i am. Oh, and yes – we do believe that’s a dollar sign on the first poster above! Just in case you were forgetting what Star Trek is all about!

Other stuff going on to prepare us for JJ Abrams movie involves a few dance parties in Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, and New York. (There is one coming up in London and another in Tokyo). See a few pics below:

We particularly love the Orion slave girl giving the Vulcan peace sign twisted around into a gangster sign. But remember what Eddie Murphy said about green bitches! Just a warning…
