It wouldn't matter which town you lived in, you would find one to criticize and demean. It's the kind of personality you have. Chipley and Vernon are rivals but we are county allies and work together for the good of the communities. We complement each other and our kids are friends. I think at least 95% of our residents would all agree with me. I have 2 sons in Vernon High School. 1 plans on being a pharmacist and 1 plans on being a lawyer. Pete, may you go live in some big city where you can find comfort in numbers. We, here in these small towns are quite content listening to the STILL EXISTENT whip-poor-wills at night singing their beautiful songs along our Holmes Creek at night, watching the Deer graze on the corn fields, and enjoy the aroma of the jasmine and honeysuckly on the night air.
