Did you know… yours truly is a Notre Dame girl, so I have a special spot in my heart for this one. Elkhart is about 15 or 20 miles east of ND, surrounded by motorhome factories, chemical factories, ethanol factories, trailer manufactured home factories, and… factories.

You can imagine that in a town like this, cops usually don’t have a lot to do other than bust punk kids making meth in their parents’ shed or give the occasional speeding ticket to someone with an out of state tag.

However, CNN reports that in November, Elkhart PD had some fun on camera with an upstanding citizen who came in their office. I can’t embed, but video here:
