Seriously, how come so many people like to give the finger on camera?
How many MySpace profile photos have you seen where a girl flips the bird to the camera, in just about every photo? Is it normal to be crass nowadays? Was it Cobain’s fault?

Maybe it was his trashy wife you’re trying to emulate?

Or was it Johnny Cash?

Whoever you look up to, please stop with the finger. Even George W does it.

I keep thinking of that scene from Running Scared, with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines:

I feel like Gregory Hines, and that’s what I want to do to every girl who thinks she’s being punk when she flips a bird to the camera. It’s fine, I can dig it, but you could put on a nice dress once in awhile.
