Nuclear Plant Security Sleeping On The Job

I Dream of Donuts
Just like Homer Simpson, a bunch of security guards at a nuclear power plant in Peach Bottom Township, Pennsylvania, have been caught by a hidden camera sleeping on the job.
See the video at CBS.
I love local news. Punctuated by lines like “In case you don’t believe us, here’s video…” and “exclusive coverage on CBS 2″, the broadcasters try to rile everyone up over a couple of sleeping security officers.

But what if the terrorists get past the guards? Yeah, and how exactly would that happen? It ain’t exactly like walking onto a playground.
Maybe the reason why the guards are sleeping is because they have absolutely nothing to do, due to the fact that nuclear facilities employ guardhouses, detectors, motion sensors, alarms, computer controlled gates and doors, multiple fences with barbed wire, guards with automatic weapons in towers and guardhouses, concrete barriers, cameras, and vehicle traps. Yeah, CBS-2, I’ll try real hard not to be frightened. Thanks for keeping us safe with this exclusive story.
