CKE Restaurants, Inc. is back with a new round of television commercials for their Hardees and Carl’s Jr. hamburger chains.

In the Hardees ad, a scantly-clad woman gyrates to a countdown of things she wants a man to do to her. All the time, she is eating a Patty Melt burger.

The Carl’s Jr. ad is also for the Patty Melt. It features a female teacher in a high school classroom doing a stripper-style dance on top of her desk, while male students do a rap song about her “flat buns.” Ah yes, the reverse-Mix-A-Lot bit. Brilliant, ad execs!

CKE Restaurants trades under ticker symbol CKR. Man, that chart is painful. Let’s hope people like flat buns.
