Meeting Elvis

Upon my last night in Maine a strange happening occured.In my room , I was suddenly startled by some singing…..The words were like this..Wiseman say.only fools rush in. but I can t help. falling in love with you……well needless to say I almost freaked.. Of course the voice was deeper now after all these years. I peered into the room and a strange man was singing. Hi I said. Hi said he. cmon in..I am Colonel Dan the man said.. his eyes and figure were clearly that of the King. but older of course..Now we all know that Colonel Tom Parker was Elvis manager. so what better name to conceal one s identity then Colonel Dan. Yep Colonel Dan Hilliard and the King..one and the same. We had a long talk and several songs were sung…I live in Vermont Colonel Dan said. munching on a moon cake along with several twinkies…Can you believe it gang . Colonel Dan Hillard is the King.. I suffer from ibs syndrome said Colonel Dan . but other then that I am fine. As I returned to my room for a camera to take the Kings picture..I could not help but smile..returning for the shot I noticed the King was gone. Was this a dream. Only time will tell…

Anyway off to Baaaaaaaaa Harbor where little red. Connie and others await the other D…Connies dad lent me twenty bucks forty years ago when I was boozin it up and out of control.. Of course I have changed. Strait as an hr now and a man of the cloth to boot. but then again The othe donald sees many strange things.
