Man Claiming To Be Christ Reincarnated Speaks In Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. — A man who claims he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ on Earth spoke to hundreds of followers at Lake Eola Saturday. Many people came to support him and many people also came to expose him as a fraud, WESH 2 News reported. Dr. De Jesus Miranda said he dismisses people who think he’s a phony.

The man who calls himself “Christ Jesus” travels with his own security force. While the people on stage played music, followers in the crowd wore T-shirts reading “666.” Some people even have the same design tattooed on their body. Miranda said he believes he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. He said the 666 is a sign of prosperity, a transition from the first Jesus who walked the earth and the spirit, which he claims is in him.

Miranda’s statements to his believers were in Spanish, but he told them the people who don’t believe have their eyes and ears covered. Miranda, who has been banned in three countries, spoke for a half an hour then he was whisked away by his security guards while protesters continued to pray. Even though Lake Eola is a public place, the group had a permit from the city to hold the gathering. That means they could legally allow only people invited and welcomed to the gathering to sit down.

The woman was found dead in the parking lot of the store and her two daughters, Vanessa Gaju and Kelvine Uwase, were missing, prompting a statewide missing child alert. The missing child alert was canceled Monday after the children were found. The children were not harmed, police said. Biziyaremye remains missing.

Driver opens fire on family at stoplight in Orlando
ORLANDO — A motorist in Orange County opened fire and narrowly missed shooting a 2-year-old in a car seat after his mother did not run a changing red light as she approached an intersection, according to deputies. Investigators said a woman and her child were driving at Pine Hills Road and Beggs Avenue on Saturday when a light at the intersection changed. The woman did not run the light and stopped. “She stopped for a red light and apparently for the person behind her, that wasn’t good enough,” Orange County sheriff’s Sgt. Shawn Callaghan said. “The person went around her and fired one round into her truck.” The bullet flew through the window, over the child’s car seat and out another vehicle window, officers said.
In Orlando, not running a changing red is grounds for termination. Everybody knows that.
Orlando police investigating double homicide in College Park
Orlando police this morning were investigating a double homicide that left a man and woman dead. The shootings happened inside 909 Dartmouth St. in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood. Mayor Buddy Dyer, who lives a few blocks north, was briefed by police outside the Key West-style bungalow that sits along tree-lined Dartmouth Park. The mayor said he was confident the shootings were not a random act of violence. “I feel absolutely safe,” Dyer said after talking briefly to investigators on the scene. “Something like this can occur anywhere. It has nothing to do with the neighborhood.”
