Videodrome is a personal favourite of mine, particular because of the way it deals with social constructionalist ideas. "After all there is nothing real outside our perception of reality, is there." It is difficult to distinguish between 'reality' and Max Rehn's hallucinations, but, then again,in a world where reality is subjective, what is the difference?

Videodrome is a classisc piece of cinema and a most vivid example of Cronenberg's veneral horror. The most intriging aspects of this film are the effect of the psychological on the physical, the blurring of fantasy and reality and the exploration of the darker human motivations and interests.
