MySpace removes 200,000 “objectionable” profiles

Advertisers have to feel confident their content will not be “tainted”… you’d think that said it all from Rupert, but I still believe the News Corp purchase of this site is done with more ulterior motives, probably an eye to instituting federal regulatory schemes for content on the internet.
But still. Alexa says it’s in the top 10 sites in the US, and has lots of 18-30 year old sticky eyeballs. Might as well make a few bucks while you’re instituting the New World Order.
