Byrne goes after the naked shorts with a passion
Byrne has waged a public relations battle against Gradient, the hedge fund Rocker Partners and, basically, the whole Wall Street community. He alleges their participation in a vast conspiracy to drive down the shares of his company through the distribution of false information that allowed traders to profit from their short positions in Overstock.com.
